Alexandria, Va. - Nine projects led or supported by researchers who previously received early-career funding from Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation are featured in Clinical Cancer Advances 2021: ASCO's Annual Report on Progress Against Cancer. This independent review of the field, now in its 16th year, showcases major breakthroughs in clinical cancer research and care, as well as emerging trends in oncology.

“Every year, oncologists look to ASCO’s Clinical Cancer Advances as the premier list of promising cancer discoveries. With so many Conquer Cancer researchers involved in the recognized studies, it not only speaks to the quality of scientists we support but also the investment our donors make when they fund the brightest minds in cancer research,” said Howard A. Burris III, MD, FACP, FASCO, chair, Conquer Cancer Board of Directors. “We are proud of these contributions that Conquer Cancer grant recipients have made to global cancer care and are hopeful their dedicated work will help patients everywhere.”
