ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, is proud to announce the recipients of its 2024 Breakthrough Merit and Abstract Awards.

These awards recognize students, trainees, and junior faculty for their valuable research in clinical cancer treatment and technology innovations in cancer care. Awardees will present their research in Yokohama, Japan, August 8–10, 2024, during ASCO Breakthrough, a yearly oncology meeting bringing together thought leaders, clinicians, technology pioneers, novel drug developers and researchers for inspiration, collaboration, and more.

Abstract Awards support the first authors of the 39 highest-rated abstracts selected for presentation during ASCO Breakthrough. The awards are supported by the Conquer Cancer Mission Endowment program.

Merit Awards recognize the quality and scientific merit of research submitted by students and trainees to an ASCO meeting.
